God is Omnipotent – all powerful good God

Dear all,

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

Word: God is Omnipotent – all powerful good God

16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. Colossians 1:16 (NIV)

Thought:

Our God has infinite power over ALL things great and small. ALL situations. The goal of this lesson is to help you recognize this attribute of His and walk in this truth daily; casting all your care unto Him because He can do all things and He cares for you. Also, we are to acknowledge the power of God has given to us to live a fruitful fulfilling life each day.

Confidence in Christ

Dear all,

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

Word of God:

7 or because of these surpassingly great revelations. Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. 8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:7-9

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2+Corinthians+12%3A7-9&version=NIV

Thought: Confidence in Christ means that LORD Jesus does “strange things I cannot always understand”. In addition, a sense of humility in knowing God realizing that there will always be more to learn from Him. The appropriate response to God is a heart of wonder and awe in light of His incomprhensible greatness.

In Christ we have everything we need for salvation and for living the Christian life. Thank God for what we have received in Christ Jesus.

Glorifying God and Making Disciples

Dear all,

Greetings in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Word:

18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Thought:

Jesus left the disciples with these last words of instruction. We have to go – whether it is next door or another country – and make disciples. As we obey, we have comfort in the knowledge that Jesus is always with us.

In Christ we have everything we need for salvation and for living the Christian life. Thank God for what we have received in Christ Jesus.

Peace with God In Christ Jesus

Dear all,

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

Word of God: Romans 5: 1-2

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we[a] have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we[b]boast in the hope of the glory of God.

Thoughts: When we accept LORD Jesus Christ as our personal Savior, a significant exchange takes place in our heart. We give Him our sins, and He forgives and makes us right with God. Are we right with God? If not today is the day of Salvation.

In Christ we have everything we need for salvation and for living the Christian life. Thank God for what we have received in Christ Jesus.

ATTITUDE – Charles Swindoll – Adapted from http://www.insight.org

You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Philippians 2: 5-11

 ATTITUDE

by

Charles Swindoll – Adapted from http://www.insight.org

“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.  Attitude, to me, is more important than facts.  It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think, say or do.  It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill.  It will make or break a company… a church… a home.  The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we embrace for that day.  We cannot change our past… we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way.  We cannot change the inevitable.  The only thing we can do is play the one string we have, and that is our attitude… I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you… we are in charge of our Attitudes”

In Christ we have everything we need for salvation and for living the Christian life. Thank God for what we have received in Christ Jesus.

Ruth 3: 18 – Sit still; Psalms 46 – Be still – To see the glory of God

Dear all,

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

Ruth 3: 18 – Sit still; Psalms 46 – Be still – To see the glory of God

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ruth+3&version=NASB

  1. Then she said, “Wait, my daughter, until you know how the matter turns out; for the man will not rest until he has settled it today.”

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm+46&version=NASB

  1. “Cease strivingand know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Thought:

Let us understand the Word of God and apply it in our day-to-day life in every dimension. In addition, let us share the love of Christ Jesus to as many people as we can. Who knows? Ruth 3: 2 says “And it happened”. In our LORD’S Sovereign plan He decided to bring Ruth as “Mother of Kings” and our LORD Jesus when he came to this world, he came as a descendant of Ruth (Matthew 1: 5). We should never under estimate the resurrected power of Christ Jesus in us.

In Christ we have everything we need for salvation and for living the Christian life. Thank God for what we have received in Christ Jesus.

A Portrait of the Christian Life

Dear all,

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

A Portrait of the Christian Life

The Incomparable Christ: For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1: 13 – 14

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Colossians%201&version=NASB

Thoughts: Benefits God offers to all believers through Christ Jesus:

  1. God has rescued his people from Satan’s kingdom of darkness and made us his children.
  2. God has brought us into his eternal kingdom.
  3. God has purchased our freedom from sin and judgment with his blood.
  4. God has forgiven all our sins.

In Christ we have everything we need for salvation and for living the Christian life. Thank God for what we have received in Christ Jesus.
