How has God’s Word taken root in your life?

Dear all,

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of Holy Spirit. Romans 15: 13

19 When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path. 20 The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. 21 But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. 22 The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful. 23 But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.” Matthew 13:19-23New International Version (NIV)

Thought:

The four types of soils represent different responses to God’s message. People respond differently because they are in different states. Some are hardened, others are shallow, others are contaminated by distracting by distracting worries, and some are receptive.

How has God’s Word taken root in your life?

Let us be ready to accept the Word of God and grow in Christ Jesus and live for Him.

Have you been enjoying God’s special treatment without giving anything in return?

Dear all,

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Word:

 Then Jesus told this parable: “A man had a fig tree growing in his vineyard, and he went to look for fruit on it but did not find any. So he said to the man who took care of the vineyard, ‘For three years now I’ve been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?’

“‘Sir,’ the man replied, ‘leave it alone for one more year, and I’ll dig around it and fertilize it. If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, then cut it down.’”  Luke 13: 6 – 3.

Thought:

Have you been enjoying God’s special treatment without giving anything in return? If so, respond to the Gardener’s patient care and begin to bear that fruit God has created you to produce.

Be thankful to God that you are wonderfully made to accomplish His purposes.

Greetings in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 5:18-20

Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Thought:

In Christ we have a better joy, a higher and lasting joy to cure our depression or tension.  Submit yourself and draw constantly from his power. When you feel down, you may find it difficult to give thanks. Take heart – in all things. God works for our good if we love him and are called by him (Romans 8: 28). Thank God, not for your problems but for the strength he is building in you through the difficult experiences of your life. You can be sure that God’s perfect love will see you through.

Thought for the week: Look at the Stars

Word for the week: The LORD took Abram outside and said, “Look up at the heavens and count the stars—if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness.

Do we have true joy in our hearts?

Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. Galatians 1: 3 – 4.

Do we have true joy in our hearts?

The secret of a joyful Christian life is being deeply rooted and grounded in Christ. It is very easy to get discouraged and distracted about unpleasant circumstances or to take unimportant events too seriously. No matter what kind of circumstances (Habakkuk 3: 17-19) we may have, still Sovereign God is on His throne and He is in control. Let us learn to see life with an eternal perspective through God’s Word

What kind of software do we have?

Dear all,

Greetings in the mighty name of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4: 8 – 9.

Thought:

What we put into our mind determines what comes out in our words and actions. We may refer to our body as the hardware and what we feed to our body as the software. What kind of software do we have? Christ centered thoughts will build our life in Christ. Paul tells us to program our mind with Christ centered thoughts. If needed we have to reboot the system for a fresh start. Let’s examine what we are feeding our hearts and minds. Let’s make sure to memorize the Word of God and apply whenever we are in the need of victory over satan’s direct and indirect attacks. We need to ask God to help us to focus our mind on what is good and pure with an eternal perspective.
