Grace under Pressure

Dear all,

Greetings in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Word: Grace under Pressure

Matthew 26: 50 – 54

Thought: In the midst of a violent attack, Peter and Jesus responded in dramatically different ways. Peter reached out with a sword and returned violence for violence. Jesus reached out his hand and offered healing. Let us look to Jesus because he is the source of our wisdom to lead a Christ centered life. Let God use us as a channel of blessings to many nations.

Thought: Many people believe that to thrive in this world the person must be tough, strong, unbending and harsh. But God says, “Not by force nor by strength, but by  my Spirit.” The key word is “by my Spirit.”

As you lead a Christ centered life, determine not to trust in your own strength or abilities. Instead, depend on God’s unlimited resources and work in the power of His Spirit.

Word of God is alive and active

Dear all,
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Word:
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. Hebrews 4: 12 – 13
Seeds
Thought:
The word of God is living, life-changing, and dynamic as it works in us. With the incisiveness of a surgeon’s knife, God’s word God’s word reveals who we are and what we are not. It penetrates the core of our moral and spiritual life. It discerns what is within us, both good and evil. The demands of God’s word require decisions. We must not only listen to the word; we must also let it shape our lives.

Be strong in the Lord and His mighty power. Ephesians 6: 10

Jesus among His Disciples – Peace be with you

Dear all,
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Word: Jesus among His Disciples
19 So when it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst and said to them, “Peace be with you.” 20 And when He had said this, He showed them both His hands and His side. The disciples then rejoiced when they saw the Lord. 21 So Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you; as the Father has sent Me, I also send you. John 20: 19-21

Thought: Is there any area you are not believing in God? Is there any area in your life that Jesus would say “stop doubting and believe”? Is there something you have not seen – yet want to believe today?
